Barnyard Friends
Meet Our Animals
We have over 40 animals and 15 different species of animals here at Thompson Farm. They include:
- Brahman Cattle
- American Buffalo
- Water Buffalo
- Zebu
- Miniature Donkey
- Miniature Babydoll Sheep
- Miniature Goats
- Miniature Scottish Highland
- Pigs
We have two separate animal feeding areas. One consisting of miniature babydoll sheep, miniature goats, a miniature Scottish Highland, and of course our mini cow sweet little Daisy Bell, named after Scott's Grandmother! We also have pigs that can see from the miniature animal feeding area. Guests can ride our hay wagon into our pasture and hand feed our large breed animals including Water Buffalo, American Bison, Zebu, and Brahman Cattle. Guests can interact with them and create memories that last a lifetime right here on the farm!

Each additional birthday guest is $8 per person
50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking
Additional Party Options:
Birthday Party Package guests will each receive one container of animal food. An additional $100 per hour will be charged for parties lasting longer than two hours. If you would like a longer time period, it must be booked in advance.
We can also add the following seasonal activities to either party package:
- Pick a small pumpkin or gourd for $2 each (Fall 2024 Season Only- upon availability)
- Cotton Candy can be added for $3 each (Fall 2024 season only)
- Pony rides can be added for $5 per child (Fall 2024 season only)
- Face Painting can be added for $5 per child (Fall 2024 season only)
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the time and date for your reservation.
Playground
Norma’s Play Area
We have some old-fashioned games and activities as well as fun new ones to enjoy. Some of these include duck races, feeding our farm animals, bull roping, a giant slide, and more.

Activities Include:
Giant Jump Pads:
These are giant inflatable jumping pillows that provide kids and adults of all ages a guaranteed fun time. The flat surface allows for children and adults to jump at the same time. Needless to say- they are a HUGE hit here on the farm!
Duck Races:
Race your ducks down the luge using antique water pumps. This is guaranteed to be a splashing fun time!
Giant Corn Box:
Kids take their shoes off and you heard it right- climb into a box full of corn kernels! You will find corn in your pockets for days but the fun is so worth it!
Monkey Bars:
Such a classic- we just had to have this activity! Parents, you can reminisce your younger days on the playground as a child while watching your own kids enjoy this staple activity!
Balancing Beam:
Are you a gymnast at heart? Give it a go to see if you can make it across!
Animal Feedings:
Check out our Meet the Animals section to learn about all the animals we have on the farm. We have everything from miniature goats to American Buffalo! While you are on the farm make sure you say hello to all of our many NEW farm friends!
Giant Slide:
Adults and kids alike enjoy our 80ft slide year after year. This is always a great photo op as well!
Tire Playground:
We have many sizes of tires to climb on, in, and around.
Kiddie Corral:
Your toddler will love bouncing around in this area on horses, cows, pigs, and so much more!
Photo Opps:
We have so many festive photo opps on the farm that you will want to snap all of the fun memories with your friends and family to remember for years to come!
Web Swings
These are a favorite with the little ones! Who wouldn't love gliding on a giant net?
Barnyard Bubbles
Bubbles, bubbles, and more bubbles! All ages enjoy making these giant bubbles!
Giant Spiderweb
See, some spiders are cute! Kids absolutely love climbing all over this giant spiderweb activity.
Pumpkin Chess: (Fall 2024 Only)
Check mate! Such a fun classic game played with pumpkins!
Pumpkin Tic-Tac-Toe: (Fall 2024 Only)
All ages enjoy a good game of Tic-Tac-Toe, we prefer playing with different color pumpkins though!
Mini Bee Zip Lines:
Sorry adults, these zip lines are made especially for the kiddos! Watch them as they zip past!
Corn Maze:
Six and a half acres of ears and ears of fun! See if you can make it through our special design and not get lost! Adults have just as much fun as the kiddos in our maze year after year!
Cornhole
A beanbag game for all ages. Do you think you can get a Holy Moly Triple Cornholy (3 holes in a row)?
Bull Roping
Practice your cowboy and cowgirl skills and practice roping the bull by the horns!
Tetherball
This is such a fun activity that kids of all ages enjoy!
Barnyard Basketball
Shoot some hoops with our basketball game constructed from a grain wagon!
Rock Climbing Wall
Created just for our little ones, this activity is fun for all ages of children and just the right size for our smaller children too!

Barrel Cart Rides: (Fall 2024 Only- Additional Fees Apply For This Activity)
Take a ride on our barrel cart rides pulled by a lawn mower! This fun is not only for kids, but adults too!
Face Painting: (Fall 2024 Only- Additional Fees Apply For This Activity)
Fall Festivals and face painting go hand in hand! Your little one can choose from many designs from our professional face painter. Butterflies, bats, pumpkins, and so many more fun designs that are picture perfect!
