We have activities that range from tours, overnight camping, a corn maze, meet and greets with our farmhouse friends, and so much more! Barnyard Friends

Meet Our Animals

We have over 40 animals and 15 different species of animals here at Thompson Farm. They include:

  • Brahman Cattle
  • American Buffalo
  • Water Buffalo
  • Zebu
  • Miniature Donkey
  • Miniature Babydoll Sheep
  • Miniature Goats
  • Lambs
  • Pigs
  • and even a 105 pound African Spurred Thigh Tortoise!

Our petting zoo consists of lambs, miniature babydoll sheep, miniature goats, and of course our mini cow sweet little Daisy Bell, named after Scott's Grandmother! Children can interact with them and create memories that last a lifetime right here on the farm!

Birthday Parties

Party Package Includes:

$250 for two hours
30 Birthday Guests
Each additional birthday guest is $5 per person
50% non-refundable deposit is required

Additional Party Options:

Birthday Party Package guests will each receive one container of animal food. An additional $25 per hour will be charged for parties lasting longer than two hours.

We can also add the following seasonal activities to either party package:

  • Pick a small pumpkin or gourd for $2 each (upon availability)
  • Cotton Candy can be added for $3 each (Fall 2021 season only)
  • Pony rides can be added for $5 per child (Fall 2021 season only)

A deposit is required to confirm your reservation.

Playground

Norma’s Play Area

We have some old-fashioned games and activities as well as fun new ones to enjoy. Some of these include duck races, feeding our farm animals, bull roping, a giant slide, and more.

Two Giant Jump Pads:
These are giant inflatable jumping pillows that provide kids and adults of all ages a guaranteed fun time. The flat surface allows for children and adults to jump at the same time. Needless to say- they are a HUGE hit here on the farm!

Duck Races:
Race your ducks down the luge using antique water pumps. This is guaranteed to be a splashing fun time!

Petting Zoo:
Enjoy spending one on one time with our miniature animals here at the farm! Get up close and personal with our miniature sheep and miniature goats. They love the company and you will too!

Horse Swings:
Our horse swings are a staple on Thompson Farm. All the kids love to swing on these handmade tire horses.

Animal Feedings:
Check out our Meet the Animals section to learn about all the animals we have on the farm. We have everything from miniature goats to American Buffalo! While you are on the farm make sure you say hello to all of our many NEW farm friends!

Giant Slide:
Adults and kids alike enjoy our 80ft slide year after year. This is always a great photo op as well!

Tire Playground:
We have many sizes of tires to climb on, in, and around.

Hay Swings:
Who doesn’t love a good hay swing? We have four for you and your littles to swing on and take the cutest pictures! The kids will have a blast and you can get cute photos at the same time. What a win-win!

Corn Maze:
Six and a half acres of ears and ears of fun! See if you can make it through our special design and not get lost! Adults have just as much fun as the kiddos in our maze year after year!

Cornhole
A beanbag game for all ages. Do you think you can get a Holy Moly Triple Cornholy (3 holes in a row)?

Bull Roping
Practice your cowboy and cowgirl skills and practice roping the bull by the horns!

One With Nature

Primitive Camping

Join us at a half a mile Oak-lined driveway adjoining the old Waccamaw River prime kayaking fishing and animal watching. Only minutes from Myrtle Beach.
